I am starting to get confused about this wordpress.  I have been figuring out these few days to add HTML code into wordpress but it seems like I have difficulty.   One good example is the Recent Readers in this post.  I wanted to put it at the side not the here.  How should I do it?  Could anybody help me???

I think you can add those in the “widgets” section of your WordPress site. The widget name is Rich Text, or Text, or whatever it is which contain the word “text”.

Just put the widget inside your sidebars, click the edit button, copy and paste the code :)

The illustrated instructions for using text widgets are found in the first place to look – the FAQs. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/12/24/using-the-text-widget/

And here’s is a linkto even more information on widgets.

What you cannot use in text widgets as the code will be stripped out by wordpress.com programming is javascript, iframes, forms and some video/music embeds.
